Changing your name

Transgender students at RUB can have their name and gender changed in official documents. If you would like to use this option, please contact the Registrar’s Office with the relevant form.

Alfried Krupp Experimental Laboratory for Young People:
Tracing the footsteps of the German and Russian LGBTQ community

For one day, students slip into the role of cultural researchers who deal with the subject of “sexual and gender diversity”. First, they get an overview of Slavic studies and the relevance of the topic outside academia. They then independently research the history and present of the LGBTQ community in Germany and Russia.
