Making diversity visible, counteracting discrimination and promoting talent in a targeted manner: Various institutions and stakeholders around the Vice-Rectorate for Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Development are committed to this. They are also points of contact when difficulties arise.

Professor Isolde Karle was elected as the first Vice Rector for Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Development in 2021. Under her tenure, RUB will place an even stronger focus on diversity and will coordinate and maintain projects and institutions that have existed ever since the university was established.
