We learn from and with each other in appreciation and respect. We counteract discrimination and exclusion in a targeted manner. It is fundamental for a modern university to develop and utilize all human talent resources.
Central Contact Persons
Making diversity visible, counteracting discrimination and promoting talent in a targeted manner: Various institutions and stakeholders around the Vice-Rectorate for Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Development are committed to this. They are also points of contact when difficulties arise.
Actions and Projects
Ruhr University Bochum lives diversity. With campaigns, projects and open spaces, such as Diversity Day, we promote exchange, reflection and cohesion. In this way, we make diversity visible on campus and develop it further together.

We want everyone to feel comfortable on campus and be able to contribute their strengths and talents. To this end, we have developed guidelines and handouts.
