What we promote
The main aim is to support projects or events that are aimed at a broad, public audience and thus attract attention far beyond the Ruhr-Universität campus. At the same time, the projects should be characterized by something extraordinary and special.

Who we support
According to its statutes, the Ruhr University Bochum Foundation may only support projects that are related to the Ruhr University Bochum (Ruhr University Bochum).

When do we support
The funds are distributed several times a year: You can submit your application either by May 2. The Ruhr University Bochum Foundation will usually decide on your application within six weeks. Please send us your funding application by e-mail: rub-stiftung@rub.de.

Submit application
The Ruhr University Bochum Foundation would like to award its funding as unbureaucratically as possible. Nevertheless, we need some formalities:

1. Cover letter: Contact details of the applicant, signature of the applicant, contact details of the contact person, bank details (IBAN and BIC), financial center, purpose of use, proof of non-profit status (notice of exemption) if applicable.
2. Application text: Max. one DIN A4 page.
3. Cost plan: List of expected income and expenditure.

Please send us your application only by e-mail and as a PDF file. (Please do not send us Excel spreadsheets, Word files, etc.). Postal applications will not be considered)

Proof of use
Simply send us your proof of use by e-mail in a PDF file. (Please do not send us any Excel spreadsheets, Word files etc.. Postal proof of use will not be considered) We expect your proof of use unsolicited two weeks after the implementation of your project - at the latest by December 31. You have not used all of the Ruhr University Bochum Foundation's funding? Then please transfer the unspent funds back to the Ruhr University Bochum Foundation by December 31 at the latest.
