Making diversity visible, counteracting discrimination and promoting talent in a targeted manner: This is what Prof. Dr. Isolde Karle has been working towards in the Vice-Rectorate for Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Development since 2021. Her task is to bundle the many diversity topics, projects and contact points, network them even better and develop an overall strategy.

Professor Isolde Karle was elected as the first Vice Rector for Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Development in 2021. Under her tenure, RUB will place an even stronger focus on diversity and will coordinate and maintain projects and institutions that have existed ever since the university was established.
